Joy Atkins
   Instructor/Stylist 

Joy has been in the beauty industry for 15 years.  She has a degree in Applied Science of Cosmetology and is a licensed Cosmetology Instructor.  Joy was employed as the Lead Cosmetology Instructor at Remington College, North Houston Campus and is currently employed  with  Aldine ISD. 

She has numerous awards in hair design, advanced hair color and haircutting techniques.  Joy is a certified trainer of NuExpressions Relaxer System by Bronner Brothers and has a Mizani certification for mastery of color, cut and style techniques. 

 Joy also specializes in short hair design, keratin tipped fusion, micro-link fusion, sew-in weaves, net weaves and seamless hair extensions, a technique that requires no adhesive on the scalp, no braiding, sewing, heat, clips or chemicals.  The seamless hair extension system is ideal for people with thinning hair or those who want length, volume or highlights without the chemicals.
